Planned for 2026 · In preparation
See presence.
PRESENSEE is a school for learning to imagine your own future vividly. MiNDCloud Inc. is preparing for its opening.
Why a sense of presence matters now
Surveys on happiness and expectations for the future suggest how difficult it can be to feel hopeful in Japan.

Against this background, we focus on the ability to imagine your own future vividly.
Start by practicing how to picture the future
- 01
How we see the future and feel about the present
The way we respond to the same experience can change with our current circumstances. We believe our outlook on the future also affects how we feel about the present.
- 02
Making distant goals feel closer
Compared with events happening in front of us, our ideal selves and the future of society can be harder to picture in detail. At PRESENSEE, we practice developing a sense of presence around that imagined future.
- 03
Mental images and physical responses
Imagining an umeboshi, a sour pickled plum, can make your mouth water. In this way, what we picture in our minds can sometimes prompt a physical response. Paying attention to how mental images work is the starting point for our practice.
We see the ability to experience an imagined future vividly as a skill that can be developed through practice.
Presence EngineeringDesigning a sense of presence.
MiNDCloud calls the design of experiences and training to deepen a sense of presence “Presence Engineering” (臨場学). We draw on findings from psychology to develop these methods and incorporate them into learning at PRESENSEE.
Start with experience
Begin with exercises to notice how you feel. Use those experiences as a starting point for learning ideas from psychology.
Understand how it works
Explore your experiences in light of findings from psychology to understand how they work. Build knowledge you can also use when practicing on your own.
Reflect on changes
Reflect on how you feel before and after practice. Continue practicing while noticing what has changed and what remains difficult.
The symbol’s concentric circles represent a sense of presence spreading from yourself to those close to you and into society.
Two measures for reflecting on your learning
The ability to create a sense of presence within yourself, and the ability to convey it to others. PRESENSEE uses these two perspectives to reflect on changes before and after training.
Presence Quotient
The ability to create a sense of presence within yourself.
This measure captures how vividly you can experience your ideal self or a distant goal. It is used when practicing a sense of presence around things that are not physically in front of you.
Presence Influence Quotient
The ability to convey a sense of presence to others.
This measure captures how vividly you can convey the future you imagine to others. It is used to reflect on one-to-one dialogue and how you engage teams and audiences.
Program structure
The planned structure progresses to a new stage every six months, combining online materials, a two-day intensive seminar and monthly online sessions.

Our principles for learning
Every PRESENSEE program is designed around four principles.
Consent
We do not proceed with an experience or exercise without explanation and consent. Your choice to participate or stop always comes first.
Alignment with your own goals
The techniques serve your own goals. We do not create dependence on instructors or the organization.
Transparency
We explain how techniques work without hiding their mechanisms. We do not teach techniques for influencing people without their awareness.
Reversibility
You can stop at any time. Every technique is taught together with a way to return to the original state.
PRESENSEE does not provide medical care, treatment or counseling. If you are receiving medical care, please consult your physician before participating.
A society where everyone can hold
hope that feels vivid and real.
PRESENSEE offers learning to help you imagine your own future vividly.
